Vector Technology Group Subsea Business Unit hosts MWCC and Technip at its UK Facilities
On Monday 6th June Dale Reid of Exxon Mobile, currently seconded to the Marine Well Containment Company (MWCC) and Jean Luc Strieff Technip Houston visited the Subsea Business Unit for a HSE and Quality update. Neil Saunders Subsea Senior Project Manager explains “The clear message from our client from the outset of the project has been zero accidents and incidents. Any injuries to personnel would be viewed as failure for all stakeholders .” “This visit is another demonstration of how HSE, Quality and schedule are key to all our projects” added Chris Lee the Subsea Business Unit’s Managing Director. “The investment in facilities, people and training has been significant over the last two years at our Port Talbot site and that investment has been key to our success highlighted with more than 275,000 man-hours completed since our last recordable accident.
