BP and SBM Offshore recently awarded Vector International a substantial contract for a large quantity of Techlok clamp connectors. Vector’s scope of supply will consist of a wide variety of both sizes and materials for the turret system of the Quad 204 FPSO.
 
The Techlok clamp connectors are destined for the BP Quad 204 Redevelopment Project, which is an expansion of Schiehallion and Loyal fields. Schiehallion and Loyal have produced nearly 400 million barrels of oil since production started in 1998 and an estimated 450 million barrels of resource is still available. The re-development of the fields will take production out to 2035 and possibly beyond.
