Cathrine has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Trondheim. Cathrine has previously worked for Kværner, Aker, Technip and AGR Group and has experience in main process, utility and drilling system design, mechanical equipment, subsea and overall platform solutions. During her career with EPC contractors, Cathrine has managed a number of multi-cultural teams and brings with her 20 years of experience in offshore facilities engineering, concept development and project management. Cathrine joined Vector in May 2009.

John E. Larsen (48) was educated at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration and has an MSc in Economics & Business Administration as well as a Master of International Business degree. John has more than twenty years hands on experience in the field of economics and finance gained during a career that includes 7 years as Finance Manager & Senior Finance Consultant at Norsk Hydro ASA, 10 years as Deputy Group Treasurer and Director of Project and Structured Finance at Telenor ASA and 4 years as VP and Group Treasurer at Renewable Energy Corporation ASA. John joins the Vector Group from Norsk Solkraft AS where he was CEO.

Andy has been Managing Director of Vector International UK since 1994 overseeing the company's expansion from revenues of £3.5m and operating profits of £200k to current levels of £17m and £2.4m respectively. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in London, Andy has since gained extensive experience in both general and financial management roles within film, motor and the engineering/manufacturing industry.

Chris graduated from The Polytechnic of Glamorgan as a Mechanical Engineer whilst working for British Coal in South Wales in 1985. From there Chris joined NORDAM Europe Ltd a joint venture between G.E. Aircraft Engines and The NORDAM Group where he progressed to Program Manager for a 24/7/365 maintenance and repair facility whilst completing his Masters of Business Administration through University of Wales Newport. During his time at NORDAM Chris managed many international projects and customers, whilst operationally assisting in integrating in a major international acquisition. Chris joined Vector UK in 2007 as a Customer Services Director leading teams in Vector’s traditional Techlok project management and the Subsea Project Management team.

Malcolm graduated from University of Glamorgan with a 1st class honors in Mechanical Engineering whilst working for a steel manufacturer in South Wales, UK.From there Malcolm joined Terram Ltd, initially as lead of the projects department for capital investment and manufacturing development, he progressed to Operations Manager for a 24/7/365 manufacturing facility whilst completing his Masters of Business Administration through University of Wales Newport. In 2004 Malcolm joined Vector UK as a Customer Services Director. In 2006 he was managing Operations of the UK facility and then moved to Houston in August 2008 to help develop the US business from a sales office to an independently functioning company.

Svend graduated from NTNU in Norway in 1987. He has had several technical and managerial positions within offshore and marine fields. He has 5 years experience with flexible pipes and riser engineering in Technip (Coflexip) and 10 years experience with the Goltens Group. Svend joined Vector in May 2007 coming from the position as Managing Director of Goltens Oslo AS, a position he had held since 2002.

John has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Loughborough University and a MSc in Materials Engineering. He initially worked in Nuclear Power Engineering and moved into the Oil & Gas sector before jointly founding Vector in 1987. John has remained with the company and has overseen the technical developments of the products throughout his time. He has made a huge contribution to the success of the business and his technical ability and knowledge of products in our market is second to none.

Colin joined Vector Group in September 2008, he has an honours degree in Mechanical engineering and a Professional Diploma in Management with the Open University. He has 19 years experience with project, operational and supply chain management within the automotive and electronics industries.

Jim has held a variety of senior management positions. In 2001 he set up his own company (Technology Ventures International Ltd), which specialised in the commercialisation of new technologies. Prior to that Jim worked for PSL Group in Aberdeen as International Business Development Manager, responsible for setting up the BD process and ranking system to evaluate international opportunities and give advice to PSL Business Units. He has also held positions as a District Manager in Brunei, Regional Manager for Australasia and the Middle East Regional Manager based in Dubai.
